Shoes that feel good and look good should also be good for the planet that we walk on. And we’re working on it. 

The fashion industry has of course, got a long way to go. And we mean one hell of a long way to go, when it comes to sustainability.

Neil Armstrong famously announced, "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." back in 1969. And that is how we see the initial steps of us working out how we can make comfortable sustainable, whilst also being affordable. 

Our approach is simply the first step of many, towards a greener future for all.

We’re starting the journey with KickBack with our deliberate, conscious material choices like ramie nettles and our recycling scheme to try and reduce the waste that comes along with fashion. Because it shouldn’t be just about offsetting our carbon footprint, but actively working towards more than that. 

Our purpose is simple: shoes that feel good, look good and fit your everyday lifestyle.

But not at the cost of the planet your lifestyle depends on.

Each small step is a step in the right direction, and whilst we definitely have a long way to go, we’re doing what we can, as we go, to try and minimise our footprint. So we can kick back and enjoy the planet we live on, for as long as possible.

We recycle your loved shoes

We don't discriminate against brands. Send us back any of your loved shoes to recycle and get 20% off a new pair of KickBacks to love.

Our recycling scheme is designed to help the planet and to help you too, in just three easy steps:

1. Simply send us back your worn or unwanted KickBacks or other shoes through the post - get creative with your packaging, we encourage you to use something we can recycle as the less waste the better!
2. You’ll get a 20% discount code for a brand new pair to love (as a thank you for doing your part). 
3. We’ll do the hard work and recycle your old shoes for you. 

If they’re in good condition our recycling partner will rehome them to someone in need, and if they’re in a poor condition, then the shoes will be broken down into their materials to use in other products too.

By choosing to recycle and rehome, we are reducing waste to landfill sites and you will play a fundamental role in the reduction of waste and a move towards a more sustainable version of fashion.
